Joel Oleson

Joel played a pivotal role in the success of Microsoft SharePoint as the first full time employee to administer the product full time. He was the technologist of the first version of SharePoint Online in what would become Office 365. Joel was Senior Technical Product Manager for SharePoint when it really took off in 2007, as voice of the product for the IT audience.

The next phase of his life has been focused on the events and community where he has spoken and traveled to over 100 countries focused on evangelizing enterprise collaboration and cloud productivity solutions.

He has been recognized in the industry as a community leader, writer and influencer.

Joel has been recognized by Microsoft and awarded MVP, and Regional Director for his contributions and community leadership and influence.
