Chevonna Gaylor

Chevonna Gaylor is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Mental Health Expert. Chevonna operates a private psychotherapy practice and, although she treats most populations, she specializes in trauma. She’s a UCLA alumni, adjunct professor, international speaker and published author of ‘The Emerging Healer: Adding insight and impact to your mental health work.’ Chevonna combines her extensive education, trainings/certification, 16+ years of clinical and overall life experiences to present as skilled, yet relatable. Chevonna also professionally serves as a Psychiatric Liaison in the Emergency Department of Tri City Medical Center and Clinical Director for SoteriaSpace (soteria.), offering clinical support in non-traditional settings like Coachella, Stagecoach, Mardi Gras and other large scale events. Chevonna currently serves as the Board President of her local California Marriage and Family Therapist Chapter (Southwest Riverside CAMFT). Through her work, Chevonna serves as a fierce advocate for representation, suicide prevention and the eradication of human trafficking. Most importantly, Chevonna is a wife, mother, encourager to all and loves to travel.
