Episode 71: Annie Parker - Tech Maven

In this episode Heather interviews Annie Parker, Global Head Startup Audience Engagement at Microsoft.

Tune-in to hear their conversation on:

What am I going back too?: Quitting her job via text from the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro and how that led to her working in the corporate accelerator space.

Vulnerability is not a weakness: A key phrase from a business coach that helped inspire her career and work towards positive change in the tech industry.

Talent is equally distributed, but opportunity is not: Annie's work with Microsoft for Start-ups and supporting founders who are working towards opening doors.

That's a great piece of tech looking for a problem to solve: Why Annie thinks a successful startup needs to solve a problem rather than just make cool tech and tech's role in preserving and supporting indigenous cultures and our planet.
